Fri. 4/30: BG visits Oilers for key match-up
Oilers 8-2, BG 7-3.
 
Tues. 4/27: Oiler have a lackluster showing vs. BG
Oilers fell behind early after taking a 1 run lead to start the 1st. Bg answered with a 3 run home run to take the lead 4-1. Oiler fall to BG 7-2.
 
Fri. 4/20 & 23: Oilers sweep the Spartans
The Oilers struggled defensively making 7 errors each game but found a way to beat Shurr 7-5 and 11-10.
 
Fri. 4/9 & 16: Oilers throw 2 5 inn. perfect games vs. SG.
Michael Maldonado pitched a 5 inning perfect game. Anthony Millan and Jose Matos combined for another perfect game.
 
Sat. 4/3: Oilers travel to Stengel Field
The Oilers will face tournament host Cressenta Valley at 7pm at Stengel Field in Glendale. Click here for directions.
 
Sat. 4/3: Oilers give up 5-3 lead and fall to the Moors
Oilers scored 5 runs in the first 2 innings to knock out Moor starter Beltran. With the Oilers up 5-3 in the 5th, Alhambra led off with a solo HR off Alex Guerrero, then loaded the bases with 2 outs. A double by Saldate scored 3 runs off Jose Matos. The Oilers loaded the bases with no out, then flied out 3 times to end the game.
 
Fri. 4/2: Show down Friday vs. Alhambra
Both programs have all 3 levels undefeted heading into the final game of the first round of league. Varsity will be traveling to Alhambra whlie JV and Frosh play home. Click here for Whittier Daily news full story
 
Tues. 3/29: Oilers struggle in 4-1 win vs Keppel
Anthony Millan pitched 6 innings, gave 0 earned runs and struck out 13. Dennis Cisneros had a golden double with 2 outs to knock in  2 runs, Walter Aguilar followed with a rbi single to score Denis.
 
Fri. 3/25: Oilers defeat BG 13-1
Both Robert Zamorano and Dennis Cisneros had 3 hits, 2 single and a double.
 
Tues. 3/22: Oilers beat Spartans 13-6
Silvestre Sanchez had 3 hits, Michael Aguliar had 3 triples, and Jose Matos faced 9 hitters in 3 innings of relief.

3/19: Oilers open league with 17 runs
The Oilers had 13 hits and scored 17 runs to defeat the San Gabriel Matadors. Dennis Cisneros went 3-3 with 3 doubles and 6 rbi's. Tonatio Monroy also had 3 hits.
 
3/16: Oilers get back at Dons with 8-4 win.
Jose Matos took a no-hitter in to the 5th inning to earn his first Varsity victory. Tonatio Monroy had a golden 2 out 2 RBI hit in the second. Mike Maldonado, Michael Aguilar, and Daniel Lopez had doubles. Silvestre Sanchez had a triple.
 
3/12: Oilers lose to Dons 6-5.

3/10: Oilers shut out S. El Monte 5-0
Mike Aguilar had a day to remeber collecting 3 doubles, Mike Maldonado also had a double, and Alex Guerrero hit a HR. Anthony Millan pitched 6 scoreless to run his record to 2-0. Oilers move on to the championship game. To read full story click Whittier Daily News.
 
3/8: Oilers beat W. Covina 5-2
Robert Zamorano had 2 hits, Alex Guerrero picked up the win pitching 6 innings, Mike Maldonado picked up the save, and Anthony Millan hit a Home Run. Daniel Lopez had 2 great defensive plays.
Oilers start season with a 4-0 shutout vs Bosco Tech
Anthony Millan and Alex Guerrero combined for a 4 hit shutout and faced only 24 hitters. Both pitchers helped on the offensive side, Guerrero had 3 hits and Millan had a 3 run home run.

2/21:Alumni Game Results
The Varsity came out swinging the bats early scoring 4 runs in the 1st. The Alumni answered back with four runs of their own in the 2nd. However, the Varsity scored 8 more runs and win 12-5. Thank you Alumni!
